Celebrating 10 Years of Team HOPE with Special Guest Matt Chisholm
This November, Team HOPE celebrates a decade of making a difference in the lives of Central Taranaki families—and the community is invited to mark the occasion in style. The 10-year anniversary celebration will take place on Saturday, November 9 at the Stratford Eltham Rugby & Sports Club, with an exciting evening of music, refreshments, and an inspirational guest speaker.
Joining the celebration is none other than Matt Chisholm, a familiar face to many Kiwis. Once a well-known television presenter, Matt is now a sheep and beef farmer and a dedicated mental health advocate. As an ambassador for the Rural Support Trust, he travels the country speaking about mental wellbeing and resilience, particularly within rural communities. His raw honesty, humour, and powerful storytelling strike a chord with audiences—making him a fitting guest for an organisation that has spent 10 years helping people face adversity with courage and hope.
The event will also feature a DJ, nibbles, a cash bar, and an auction, with all proceeds supporting the ongoing work of Team HOPE. Tickets are $25 and available now. It promises to be an evening of reflection, celebration, and community spirit—one you won’t want to miss.
